Welcome to Rodolico Health

At Rodolico Health, my mission is simple: to provide a safe, professional, and compassionate space where your health and well-being come first — whether that means medical care, coaching, or both.

About me

I'm Dr. Lisa Rodolico, an English-speaking doctor based in Florence. Fully trained and qualified in the UK as a General Practitioner, I bring over 20 years of NHS experience, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.

Although my medical career began in the UK, Florence is where I grew up and where I’ve now returned to combine my roots with my professional expertise. Fluent in both English and Italian, I provide clear communication and a comfortable, inclusive experience for both locals and expats. My approach blends the science of medicine with a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every patient feels heard and supported.

-Living with migraine-

Alongside my work as a GP, I am a Senior Headache Specialist at the National Migraine Centre, a UK charity dedicated to advancing treatment and holistic management of migraine. In this role, I support patients with cutting-edge therapies while also addressing lifestyle, wellbeing, and preventative strategiess.

-Neurodivergence-

Beyond medicine and charitable work, I also specialise in coaching for neurodivergence, mental health, and burnout recovery. Many of my patients benefit from this holistic dimension of care, whether they’re managing the pressures of daily life, adjusting to a new country, or navigating the unique challenges of autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences. My coaching is grounded in empathy, medical insight, and practical strategies to help you build resilience, achieve balance, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

-Rising stars-

I am also passionate about global health and community initiatives. I helped to fund and develop a nutritional programme in Malawi, providing vital support for toddlers affected by the country’s nutritional crisis. Malnutrition remains a significant challenge in Malawi, with many children lacking access to the nutrients needed for healthy growth and development. To sustain this work, we created the “Too Eazy” fitness class, led by a local Malawian fitness trainer, which raises funds through weekly virtual workouts. This initiative combines fitness, fun, and purpose — supporting children’s health while building connections across borders.

-My journey back to Florence-

Today, I live in Florence with my family. We moved back seeking a life with more balance — one that allows us to spend more time together, give our children a richer cultural experience, and raise them with a sense of being global citizens. Stepping away from the treadmill of expectations has given us space to live more intentionally, enjoying nature, animals, and even family bouldering adventures.
